A criminal charge is extremely serious. If you are found guilty, you may be imprisoned; fined; deported, depending on your immigration status; denied access into other countries; dismissed from your current employment or prevented from securing future employment.

A criminal charge is also a very alienating experience.  Although you are innocent until proven guilty, you may be treated as if you are guilty until proven innocent, labelled a 'criminal' and treated with less courtesy and respect.

If you have been charged with a criminal offence, it is important to retain a lawyer who is both knowledgeable and experienced.

Corey Nishio has conducted countless bail hearings, preliminary hearings and trials in which he has successfully defended individuals charged with offences under the Criminal Code of Canada and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.  He is a passionate and fearless advocate who will spare no effort in advancing your defence.  Mr. Nishio has represented individuals throughout Ontario, primarily in Toronto, Brampton, Newmarket and Oshawa.
